Currently there is no easy way to switch your routing endpoint on MetaMask. To do so, you must trigger a forgetDevice call so that it opens the Lattice Manager page again. Only once that page opens can you change the URL.

It may be better to have a timeout handler for this._connect and, on timeout, clean out creds and sdkSession state objects. This would lead to an opening of the manager page on the next request.
