If facing any issues regarding the project even after following the instructions, No worries. This discussion will help you find some answers and support to troubleshoot the issues and fix them. So, don't be shy to ask for help...

Just make sure you brief your help request and if possible place the screenshots of the issue you're facing. Be patient, as not all issues get fixed within a jiffy or over a night. It might few days depending on your issue and yes, there are a few issues that are fixed in a jiffy. So, make sure to stay, calm and respectable while you we help you fix your issue.

Most of the issues won't occur in the first place if you have followed all the instructions and guidelines provided within CONTRIBUTING.MD. And in some rare cases, you might face issues and this discussion was created for that sole reason.

Facing Issues while setting up the project in MacOS

If you're facing any issues related to setting up the project environment for this repo, then follow the following steps:

• Make sure you read the Installation Instructions properly.
• For MacOS users, there is a default version of Ruby installed within their system. It's highly suggested not to use the default version provided by the system, but instead install the Ruby 3.1.3 version that is required for the Jekyll framework to work.
• You're required to install the Homebrew package manager to install the required dependencies. And many people might get issues while installing the Homebrew itself.
• To install the latest version of Homebrew make sure you visit https://brew.sh and use the command provided within the official website.
• If you're unable to use the provided command, then try opening the link provided within the command. If you're unable to view the content directed by the link, then try configuring your DNS from automatic to manually hard-coded value of Google's DNS address which is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Check out the official documentation for more details¹.
• Also, make sure you carefully follow all the instructions till the end of the Installation. Many people make the mistake of reading the final instructions provided at the end of the installation of Homebrew.

-If your issue is not with Homebrew but with the Installation of Ruby, then try uninstalling the current version of Ruby and its dependencies using the following command:

brew uninstall --force ruby

Warning

Make sure that you only uninstall the externally installed Ruby version but not the one that comes default with the system. This could lead to other potential issues with your system.

• If you have installed Ruby through other resources rather than Homebrew, then check out the official document² for uninstalling Ruby from your MacOS system.
