Operators in HD now have more robust "messaging" systems for random barks, and monsters now have unique vocalization properties.
I think I'll narrow the original scope a little and start with just allied operators sending random barks like the ones they do when you look at them, for events like killing their target ("haha take that") or getting damaged ("argh that hurt!").
Enemy tangos would send messages taunting or warning the player ("I see you", knock knock", etc).
Monsters, if near others of the same species, can generate random strings of vocal sounds (pain/idle/vision, etc). Lower the volume and attenuation so the player doesn't feel spammed. Maybe send a "I just spoke" broadcast to near same species, so they can respond if they like.
I've always wanted to do something like this, even have a bunch of aborted QB64 code for it with call-signs and whatnot.

Will update this with ideas. No promises it'll be done anytime soon.
