+The HackIllinois team is pleased to announce that [the application](https://www.hackillinois.org/apply) to HackIllinois 2020 has been released on our website. Acceptances to the event will be made on a rolling basis as the event approaches.

+Want guaranteed admission? Try our [open source challenge](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdOxUnlnZqjTaWGnU5h-NsJvvuShHXr2eBFYmFgAjZpqWtSlg/viewform). Open at least one pull request with a significant contribution on any site between January 1, 2020 and the application deadline to a project of your choice. PRs must be made in good faith to a project beyond the scope of a personal or class project. Additional guidelines can be found on the challenge submission page.
