It would be neat if XBMC's YouTube plugin would support Google's own "Send to TV" function in their YouTube app(s). See e.g., https://support.google.com/youtube/topic/3421347 (end-user docs)

I haven't been able to locate any developer docs on it, but it's been asked about on SO: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13342669/api-for-youtube-tv-pairing-in-android - though that didn't really get a proper answer, AFAICT.

https://developers.google.com/tv/remote/ seems to be the dev docs.
