Currently in version 2.0.3.1, the option available for Splitter color updates both the Splitter.Colors: FG Color & Splitter.Colors: BG Color properties with the same color.
And it reads and shows the Splitter.Colors: FG Color as the Splitter color in the Tool.
All Splitter Styles supports FG & BG colors except Modern (modern style splitters use only the FG color).
So it would be better to have two Separate color inputs for FG & BG Colors in the tool selection.

Hi, you are right that that is how I have coded the current behavior. Personally, I have never wanted to set different BG and FG colors of splitter bars, so that's why I only have the single color option. I think it's important to keep the PaneRelief interface simple, so I don't want to add a setting that will not be relevant for most people. However, if there are a lot of people who do use different BG and FG colors, then I would consider adding it. I'm going to leave this issue here for a while and ask around and see if other people would see a benefit from having two separate color options.
