Currently, we have 3 versions of third-person pronoun:

  • perse - cons: not in the dictionary and the grammar checker will mark it as error. I'm not sure if the jury will use a grammar checker to judge us.
  • they - cons: confuses singular and plural
  • he/she - cons: mouthy and ignores nonbinary people.

If we want to use "they" or "perse" (especially "perse") we should have it somewhere in the glossary for clarification.

Another solution is to keeps using plural or repeat the word.

We should resolve this soon. The later the harder it is to resolve.
