WCAG 2.2 requires a drag movement alternative, see details in Dragging Movements (AA) and Understanding Dragging Movements.
Also, refer to the team discussion notes.

After discussion with others, opened an issue against WCAG 2.1 & 2.2 definitions of "single pointer"
WCAG #3535 "single-pointer" definition should not include path-based gestures in 2.5.1, 2.5.2, and 2.5.7

The text in this rule's Help does not include "path-based gestures" in the definition of "single pointer".
