Describe the bug
Running 1.4.0-2 of the Arch package from extra, the OTP copy button doesn't work, either with QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb or =wayland.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open qtpass
  2. Select a password with OTP field
  3. Click the OTP button
  4. Observe clipboard hasn't changed

Expected behavior
The clipboard should be overwritten with the generated OTP for the selected pass file.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS/Distribution: Arch Linux
  • Version 1.4.0-2

Additional context
This is the official Arch package, from the extra repository.

Can confirm this does not work as expected under NixOS for months now.

I can confirm the same behavior on Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS with Wayland.
Actually, CTRL+C does not work with any field.

For me this has been working now for a few weeks.

@giovi321 maybe try to use a wayland-compatible copy tool, like wl-copy and/or a pass-wayland package? In nixos there's a dedicated pass-wayland package for wayland compatibility... don't know about ubuntu.

My issue here is solved (although my issue never was with OTP!!!)

Works all fine for me on Debian testing using Gnome 47 with Wayland. Works with QT_QPA_PLATFORM set to xcb, wayland and not set at all.
