This should not be an error per se, since the values may be read by a consuming application (that will probably be the case for at least some tags in each model). However, tags that are created for the sake of internal calculations should be read in the model.
Thought: Maybe add this to a new command, and allow specifying "top-level" slots in the configuration. Those slots should not be read in the model, the rest of the slots should be.
