to ticket 5366 - CL requested updates of testing on EMU, specifically Mercury iTC, and Cryomagnet SMS -> duly provided.
- CL requested demonstration of Lakeshore 372 -> noted only single channel supported currently, but satisfied that further functionality could be added as and when required.
- CL mentioned previous request of overall view of cryogenic equipment in use -> satisfied that once current IBEX migrations and reflectometry server complete, more time for other long-standing tasks.
- NW requested update to ZOOM motion tablet project. Pointed out would be safer as user would be physically present and could see which devices were in motion. Offered a spare development tablet for testing by group if required -> added
+1
to ticket 4238 - NW concerned about personnel safety during IBEX testing on POLREF -> assured that person requesting moves would be present in blockhouse, and if move requested remotely, blockhouse would be searched and locked.
- AC asked for testing plan on POLREF as has offline test in blockhouse ongoing -> quoted instrument scientist (CK) to begin tests during week commencing 17/08/20.
- AC enquired about EPICS Mercury iTC driver and whether POLREF would be using it if migrated to IBEX by time small blue cryostat used for experiment -> would use either native EPICS driver if IBEX running, or LVDCOM driver if SECI.
