The reporting module now opens its setting forms in modals. This should also be the case here.

Currently, when creating a report using such an action, and storing it, closes the detail. Which is bad.

I also think that when storing the report, the detail should probably show it right away, as with Icinga/icingaweb2#5065 the detail is refreshed, although the content didn't change due to the report creation. But this requires changes in reporting as well and needs to be coordinated with @yhabteab
