Here are some ideas for a tidier and more intuitive UI:

• Use the tree view as navigation and for editing
• Eliminate need for (un)lock editing
• Provide hierarchical context

I'm a bit concerned about our use case not beeing inkluded in the design concept.

We use the icingaweb2-module-businessprocess to drive a wall mounted display that shows the current global situation abstracted from the technical nitty gritty - the CIO-view if you like.

Also the edit mode protects the tree view from accidental rearangement so I'm a bit concerned about loosing the feature or having accidents.

It would be great if the lists for selecting could be longer in the modal windows. I quite often select multiple items and I would be faster with less scrolling.

Thanks for your feedback. This is a non-final concept, though. We don't have the implementation on our roadmap at the moment.

We will consider your points, when we elaborate this further.
