Compression and Defragmentation possible?

Hi,
can you also implement a de-fragmentation algorithm?
If so, i think it is the most efficient way would be to compress a file (maybe from end to start ) and write the compressed result in the end of the Harddisk.
This way the compression gets the boost of I/O ...

And by the way you kill some wannabe defragers and wannabe speedupers....

And save a lot of Harddisks....

I think defragmentation algorithms are a LOT more complicated than you seem to think they are....
