I've noticed an issue when walking on cube colliders with unequal scale values. ( See the picture for an example )
I think it's the closest point on surface call, it gets an incorrect y value and due to changes frame to frame the character bounces.
I know this isn't the best bug report, but make a few steps upto a 15x6x220 cube and see what happens when you walk on it.
