I haven't tried doing this since I don't have any API credits in OpenRouter at the moment (I'm a broke college student lol) but I have seen the setting within perplexica's interface to accomplish this.

For example, if you want to use DeepSeek-V3 you would select the Custom_openai option and input

Model Name: deepseek/deepseek-chat
API Key: <YOUR_API_KEY>
BaseURL: https://openrouter.ai/api/v1

I want to install Perplexica to our company intranet but I don't want to tell all our employees the OpenRouter API key...

That's pretty easy as well. You can do it Via the source code in the config.toml file.

There is no variable for OPENAI_BASE, OPENAI_BASE_URL, CUSTOM_OPENAI_BASE or anything similar... There is also no OPENROUTER_API_KEY variable in the config file.
