Describe the bug
When latex equations is in the answer, the original code like [$$ Z{11} = \frac{V_1}{I_1}, \quad Z{21} = \frac{V2}{I_1} \quad (I_2=0) $$] is shown rather than the compiled euquation.

To Reproduce
Ask a question about math.

Expected behavior
Show the rendered equation.

Just adding to this as also facing the issue, I believe support would need to be added for MathJax for any text between two $$s or inside ( ) or [ ]. This would be particularly useful for the Academic search mode or topics involving heavy Maths use.
