Has anyone else problems opening the project in Android Studio?

I've tried two different versions of Android Studio I'm not able to synchronize nor build the project at all.

Do you remember with which version of Android Studio it was built? (or Eclipse?) I love this app, and years later, I still think it is the best doing what it does. If the code can be updated, I would be glad to do it.

It was built using eclipse. There is a custom step which require invocation of a python script, but it is only required for i18n (optional). Shouldn't be hard to create an android studio build.
Look at the forks. It seems https://github.com/AoEiuV020/wifikeyboard has the cradle files already.
