Add alerts that may indicate an overall service issue in the Service Health or Resource Health
"Windows Virtual Desktop" not in US Gov but should be.
(per BrandonM recommendation)

Hey @JCoreMS -- I think both can be useful, especially Service Health alerting to inform customers of the overall status of Azure as a whole. Some ideas:

Item Services
Service issue
Planned maintenance
Health advisories
Security Advisory
· Logic Apps
· Network Infrastructure
· Storage
· Virtual Machines
· Virtual Network
Service issue
Planned maintenance
Health advisories
Security Advisory
• ExpressRoute Gateways
• ExpressRoute/ExpressRoute Circuits
• Network Infrastructure

Some ideas for Resource Health alerts where WindowsVirtualDesktop as a Service is not available. Could also use these too if desired, may compliment other alerting focused on specifics within that resource. Resource Health I believe will cover overall health of the service.

  • ExpressRoute circuit
  • Log Analytic
  • Storage account

AVD Service Health alerts added and conditionally deployed for Commercial Only

  • will work on remaining and consider as well as work with Product Group to have these available in US Gov
