Installation Guide

  • Download the plugin as ZIP from github.
  • Make a full backup of your q2a database before installing the plugin.
  • Extract the folder q2a-blog-post-master from the ZIP file.
  • Rename the folder q2a-blog-post-master to q2a-blog-post.
  • Move the folder q2a-blog-post to the qa-plugin folder of your Q2A installation.
  • Navigate to your site, go to Admin -> Plugins and check if the plugin "Blog Post" is listed.
  • Enable by checking the checkbox next to it and Saving at the bottom of the page
  • Navigate to your site, go to Admin -> Blog Settings and change the plugin options.
  • Navigate to your site, go to Admin -> Blog Categories and add at least one category for a start.
  • Navigate to your site, go to Admin -> Pages then scroll down to Pages available via plugins: Add a link to your Blog
  • Congratulations, your new Blog Post plugin has been activated!
