Looks like refractive elements aren't handled well, debugging in debug_transmissive branch

The jones matrix computation blows up

But the PRT matrix is fine

If we take out the refractive elements, the PRT matrix looks like this

Which looks considerably different, so maybe the refractive elements are doing something bad
