How to extract search component for async-select

Hi!

I'm trying to create an async-select search custom component

I'd ideally like to extract the search bar and put it at the top of the dropdown. I have been able to update the ValueContainer to show X Selected for the value, but I've been unable to figure out how to extract only the search bar and move it into the options list menu. Any ideas or examples would be much appreciated!
