I would like to suggest a feature for automatic NVRAM Backup before upgrading and automatic NVRAM restore after the upgrade.

FYI, zigpy-znp can perform backup and restore -> https://github.com/zigpy/zigpy-znp/blob/dev/TOOLS.md#nvram-backup

@JelmerT Regarding this you might also be interested in the discussions in zigpy/zigpy#557 and Koenkk/zigbee-herdsman#303
