Has JingMatrix fork of LSPosed code been peer-reviewed?

So I don't mean to throw accusations around, but has anyone who understands code reviewed this "JingMatrix" fork? Since this module has access to your entire phone basically and can do anything.

The reason I ask is on the first day that I tried this fork installing it over the official/original LSPosed module my relatives got strange text messages claiming to be me and saying I had a new phone number, seemingly setting them up for a scam.

Could be coincidence of course and totally unrelated but makes me wonder if it has been checked out by someone knowledgeable not connected to the project. Also is JingMatrix connected to the original LSPosed devs?

The best advice for root users is to enrich their knowledge as much as possible.
Even when you are using a normal GNU/Linux device, you should still be careful with root permissions.

Code reviews are conducted as comments to individual commits and pull-requests.
There is no shortcut to guarantee an overall security report by citing any comment from an authoritative person or organization.
You should read all existing comments when you are concerned with it.
Relying on others to read them for you is not different from ignoring them from the very beginning.

Don't bring personal judgments / prejudices into current project. Many projects in this community died due to improper handling of non-technical discussions initialized by politic-oriented minds.
The openness of open source stems from the shared nature of its code. It's wrong to judge the developers or organizations behind this code, especially based on their so-called reputations, rather than on the code itself. This kind of judgment is harmful and undermines the open-source community.

If what you described can be reliably reproduced, please then report them properly as an issue.

Judging is really the opposite of my intention, I understand you as the developer might feel a bit scorned by what I wrote while being completely innocent of any wrongdoing. Perhaps I did not use the best wording and my understanding of how these things work to check it myself is minimal. I just know how some open source projects are reviewed by a third party for security purposes, and I was wondering if that was possible here. I don't mean to throw any shade on your project and scare people away, but what happened to me did happen after installing this fork, coincidence? Probably, but I had to bring it up somehow if just to get some reassurance on its safety. If there is nothing wrong going on here, I thank you for continuing this project and dedicating your time to it.
