Initial Release
Converts Poc1 plots to Poc2 plots
Tested with files up to 2.5TB (larger should work, but not yet tested)
Limited Error handling: No error handling if
• Files are locked by other apps
• Poc2 files do already exist
• Disk space on target drive is insufficient
• Insufficient physical memory
Conversion is I/O intensive. I don’t advise mining and converting a drive at the same time. For USB connected drives, I don’t recommend converting more than one drive per USB controller whilst mining on other drives connected to the same USB controller. I don’t recommend converting more than two drives per USB controller at the same time.
If you want to convert more than one drive at the same time run an instance of the app for each drive. If short of physical memory, limit the memory usage for each app and leave some elbow room for overhead. If you exceed your physical memory things will become terribly slow.
Never abort an inline conversion, the plot file will be ruined.
There is no stop/resume feature. Depending on your drive’s speed, conversion will take 3-4h per TB.
