Can flexibledatefield accept month and day without year

Great code! One question: could it accept a date with only month and day without year, such as May 4th? thanks!

I guess? It would have to be stored as something like 00000504. But then you'd need to figure out how that would work for sorting comparison etc. It's really outside the scope of the project though. This is for storing dates at different levels of granularity.
