Code of Conduct for Contributing to Van Gonography

Note: I'm using 'we' even tho I'm the only one working on this project (for now) just because it feels more inclusive, formal, welcoming and sounds better, I hope you don't mind.

Introduction

Van Gonography is an open-source project that welcomes contributors from all backgrounds. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community where everyone feels valued, respected, and safe.

This Code of Conduct outlines the expected behavior of all participants, including contributors, maintainers, and users, within the community. By participating in this project, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct and help create a positive and inclusive environment for all.

Our Pledge

Expected Behavior

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated within our community:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or any form of offensive behavior.
  • Intimidation, threats, or unwelcome advances.
  • Hateful or discriminatory language or imagery.
  • Personal attacks or trolling.
  • Disruptive, disrespectful, or derogatory comments.
