Adding a button to create, say, an integral, \int ... dx, it should be possible to leave the cursor in the middle of the expression, before dx in this case.
This is obviously not critical, but highly convenient from the student's perspective.
The solution would be to let the teacher, in the template editor, choose where the cursor should end up.
