The cost of diesel transportation is an important element in the economics of standalone diesel gensets. The current NWSAS version of the code dose not account for this cost which results in lower diesel cost.

The new version of the code should account for the travel time and the volume of diesel transported in the LCOE calculation for standalone diesel gensets.
