What feature do you want to propose?

Karman should allow for automatically fixing common issues (e.g. encoding issues, overlapping syllables, …). This feature proposal is kind of inspired by the kinds of automatic cleanup that is possible using the UltraStar Manager.

How do users access the feature?

Ideally Karman could be configured to run certain cleanups on every song so that it can be guaranteed that every song in the library conforms to a certain style. Additionally it could be useful for users to apply certain fixtures manually (although I currently don't see the value in doing so).

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • Users could manually fix these errors. This is extremely tedious and can be automated easily.
  • This proposal could be deferred until some kind of song editor is implemented in Karman. However I think this should not be considered an editing feature. Instead this is part of general library maintenance and thus a core capability of Karman.
