Automation Testing in Appium

Hi Guys!
Thank you a lot for your work. We're using your library in our mobile app. Right now we're implementing the test automation to our project and we would like to test our app using the Appium WebDriver. On the view where we're using your library, we have a problem inspecting elements like our titles, messages, if the button is flashing, etc.
Could you help me give some tips on how to test such things, are there some possibilities?
