On dismiss of TapTargetView, recycler view scrolls

On dismiss of TapTargetView, recycler view scrolls automatically. Why is this happening ? How to resolve this issue ?
Why TapTargetView dismiss is affecting other UI elements ?

I've come across the same issue, if implemented the following temporary fix:

TapTargetView.Listener() {
    override fun onTargetDismissed(view: TapTargetView?, userInitiated: Boolean) {
        view?.visibility = View.GONE
        super.onTargetDismissed(view, userInitiated)
    }
}
