RPGServ

RPGServ for Anope. RPGServ is a Role-Playing Game Server. A pseudoclient that works with Anope, the IRC Services package commonly used on most networks these days.

How to Install RPGServ

In a terminal, download RPGServ like so, inside Anope's module directory:

wget https://github.com/KeiroD/RPGServ/archive/master.zip

unzip master.zip

cd rpgserv; mv * ..; cd ..; rm -rf rpgserv/

By this point, you should've had the contents of master.zip in modules and no trace of rpgserv/.

RPGServ Configuration

To have RPGServ come online along with the rest of Services, you need to have an rpgserv.conf in the conf folder for Services so that it can automatically come online with Services when it's started.

A sample rpgserv.conf has been provided. Adapt as you see fit. Then cp rpgserv.conf to services/conf and edit modules.conf to include RPGServ. e.g.,

include
{
        type = "file"
        name = "rpgserv.conf"
}

General Usage for RPGServ

Once RPGServ is loaded into Anope, the following commands and how to use it are made available in irc. Output was formatted by mIRC.

/msg rpgserv help outputs the following:

[04:28:16AM] * <RPGServ> welcomes a guard into the tavern with a smile
