Since we are moving more and more to using mountainsort, I would suggest creating a 'module' within the cellbae repository, which can read mountainsort mda output file from clustering and create TT-mat-files for use in cellbase.
The main issue I have for implententation is that at least for Neuralynx recordings I'm using time series data with time stamps and not a strictly constant sampling rate. However, mountainsort only works with constant sampling rate. So far, I'm also outputting timestamps using the github.com/KepecsLab/mountainsort_matlab_wrapper. But that would mean the the conversion module becomes specific to that MATLAB wrapper...
