IngressClass not recognize by ingress-controller

Hi all,

I'm configurating the Kong Ingress Controller and I want create one ingress controller by namespace but this moment doesn't working and I don't found the problem.

I don't what the problem in configuration, but the controller doesn't recognize a new ingressClass and doesn't create a new loadbalancer.

Hello, I've tried what you provided on my local environment, problems

• in Deployment YAML valuae: "off": should be value: "off"
• missing ServiceAccount referenced in Deployment -> serviceAccountName: kong-serviceaccount

  Error creating: pods "kong-ingress-controller-d7c8dc8f4-" is forbidden: error looking up service account kong/kong-serviceaccount: serviceaccount "kong-serviceaccount" not found
  

  it should be created also before Deployment with proper permissions

But there is a better way.

I advise using the official Kong Helm Chart for installing it on K8s instead of hand-crafted YAMLs. Chart ensures that everything is installed and configured properly, and Kong runs.
