Title: Issue with Pre-marked Blue Ticks in the "Steps to Contribute"

Issue: In the "Steps to Contribute" section, all steps are pre-marked with blue ticks by default. However, this is incorrect. Blue ticks should only appear after the user has completed that specific step, and the user should have the exclusive right to mark the step as completed.
