I think that maybe it's better if --force corresponds to whether force push is used or not

Then --force-local or something becomes new flag for the old --force behavior

Alternatively, maybe we create a --force-push option, then --force becomes an alias for --force-local and --force-push

How about --sith? 😜 But this is definitely needed, regardless of the name.

From what I can tell from the verbose output, it actually looks like --force is being added to the git push fwiw. So maybe this isn't a problem anymore.
