  1. We will no longer use Silk to maintain these linksets. Silk was helpful to generate the initial linkset. Now we need to manually refine them.
  2. By default, let's change all links from owl:sameAs to skos:closeMatch.
  3. Split the linkset by dictionary. For example, the links for dic/geo#XXX should go into geo-dbpedia.nt, those for dic/partner#XXX should go into partner-dbpedia.nt.
  4. We can then focus on each dictionary individually. For now, let's focus on geo (the main geographic dictionary with focus on Europe) and on partner (all countries). The other ones can be left alone for now.
  5. I observe the following problems in these two linksets:
    • Germany is missing
    • Bermuda is missing
    • United Kingdom is missing
    • DBpedia Georgia (country) is mapped to Georgia the US state (US13)
    • Greece is mapped to GR, should be EL
    • Mexico the country is mapped to Mexico City (MX15 and MX_CAP)
    • Panama the country is mapped to Panama City (PA_CAP)
  6. Once these problems are fixed, it's appropriate to use skos:exactMatch instead of skos:closeMatch for these two dictionaries (geo and partner).
  7. All linkset files sould be published under http://eurostat.linked-statistics.org/links/xxxx. For example, eurostat.linked-statistics.org/links/geo-dbpedia.nt. Also, the new linksets I added in GitHub under Eurostat/nuts-links should be there too.
  8. All linkset files should be listed in the VoID file.
