Product data missing in Activity Details

What happened?

AB version 2.11.2

Issue: The "Products" square in "Activity details" appears empty.
Why it is strange: The database tab shows the column "Product" correctly and the exchanges can be dragged from the database tab to the "Reference flows" area in the setup tab.
Additional information: Since there's nothing showing on the Product space, this cannot be edited.
Problem specificity: The database was imported from an Excel file with unusual formatting; from Supporting Information S1 in Šimaitis et al. (2023).

Hi @mixib,

I've converted your issue into a discussion as it isn't a bug within the AB or Brightway, but a matter of how the excel sheet is formatted.

Seems to me the "production" exchanges are missing from the excel sheet. Which means they are not created and won't show up in the AB. Brightway will assume that the production is 1 so you can still do calculations and build models with the database in question.

If you want to add production exchanges you will have to either do so through Brightway, or by adding them manually to the excel sheet, as this isn't possible in the Activity Browser.
