I've been testing out the functionality on the #72 PR and I wanted to make some notes. Functionality in the screencasts and you text all looks good but there are some issues. I think its likely these are already on your list I thought it would be useful to have them in an issue:

• Dashboard never loads any thumbnail content, I suspect there is a timeout
• The images page does the same. Without content in there there isn't a way to view your past requests. Maybe there should be some other way to display this data if thumbnails are unreliable.
• In beginner schedule, the list of solar system objects are not schedulable (the defaults won't work)
• The WhatsUp list of targets makes the page load really slow. I need to work on that API to make it faster.
• When you select a target type you always get the same 3. It would be nice if you got a random selection and there was a button to "Shuffle".
• The "My Projects" page is only available after you submit a scheduled observation. This should either have a success message with a link to Dashboard or be list of all your submitted observations (which also has a notification saying you were succesful in submitting your request) or maybe a summary page for that request.
• Pending observations on dashboard always show an animation because they are .... pending
• Any time we show the name of a schedule observation it should link to an observation summary page where you could see when it is scheduled, where and after it is complete the images
• Only TFN is enabled for Live Observing. OGG gets status "Unknown"
• SkyMap in Live always shows TFN not booked site.
• Include option to select target from WhatsUp in Live (using &site=<sitecode> option in API)
• Style queue schedule options
