Database of volunteers

Context:
To track our volunteers and give the appropriate credit, we decided to start keeping track of members of the LDSA, past and current. For this we should collect data at the beginning when a volunteer onboards, as mentioned here #240. We need somewhere to store this safely, this is, an internal database. @hcastilho

Goal(s)s:

• Create a process to gather the data @minhhoang1023 related with the issue Create a Volunteer Onboarding form collecting main info #240

**Data is being stored in a spreadsheet in the LDSA folder _Organization/Volunteer Database, https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1f2MS7JCKH1KDQXZUsCUXZFc2vusklhLJ

Acceptance criteria:

• We have a documented process and an assigned AOR that will collect this data and add it on the link above for each new onboarded member

This is relevant for both the Comms & Bebes (website update) and the Ops (who can we count with for stuffs) AORs so tagging them both!

Hj @Juliana-R is there anyway to make this easier? Like, instead of having Castilho creating a database, can it be a single spreadsheet?

I'm not a fan of the spreadsheet model, but I guess we could do that since the list shouldn't be too big. Which AOR should be in charge of updating this data in the future? 🤔

I can create the form & spreadsheets as mentioned in #240
When it's ready, will share it here with you guys so in the future when we have time, we can migrate it into a database.

Given the AOR description, this one would be closest to the Documentation AOR as it's a part of keeping our documentation updated & unblock other AOR. Doc AOR won't necessarily be the one to update, but rather pushing others to update. E.g. adding it as a step of the onboarding process.

@thecarolmartins are we keeping track of the new volunteers on this database? Who is in charge of that?

We are now tracking new volunteers. This is now under the responsibility of Volunteers AOR, therefore I propose we close this issue for now. if need be, we can re-open.
