please help can not compile

i had the server running but it randomly started crashing xi_map on loading npc list

so i deleted all and tried to recompile and now i am getting this error

warning C4819: The file contains a character that cannot be represented in the current code page (932). Save the file in Unicode format to prevent data loss

also happens in chrono.h

The short answer is no, when I was attempting to cause this problem in a Virtual Machine to try to fix it for the codebase I was unable to actually produce the issue.

What's your exact windows install, language, etc and I might be able to look into it.

windows 10 pro 22h2-19045 in english with japanese locale
it says i need to save those 2 files in unicode format
i ll change it back to english tomorrow and try again

compiled in another machine,now it 15 compiled 0 errors,your code hates windows in other language than english idk why

because Microsoft products can't get their $%^& together and properly detect the format even when we try to accommodate their quirks with the byte order mark. They've made us waste so much time trying to make this work for all regions, you have no idea.
