While trying to transfer files with both the clients (one python, another wormhole-client), the program exited before transferring files without any meaningful messages.

This needs fixing at several levels:

  1. A way to display a bunch of logs, when turned on.
  2. Perhaps stateful tests for network operations?
  3. More robust handling of network errors.
  4. refactoring of the candidate selection code.

A bit of refactoring is done in 453443a
