JSON error when trying to submit links/images in my lemmy instance #214

Hello, not sure if this is even the right place to ask this. I am a junior dev and brand new to lemmy. Previously I have been able to upload photos to my lemmy community. But today I was greeted with the error: "SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data", and the console appears as such. It is a 400 bad request. Who should I ask about this? Is there like an "instance owner" or something? And if so, how do I contact them?

Many apologies if this is not the place to ask questions like this, but I don't know where to go to remedy the situation.

@BarkMulcher This seems more of an issue with lemmy itself, not with the documentation, so your best bet is looking at open issues at https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy or https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui, or open one if you can find it.

To go a bit deeper into your issue though, it seems like the UI is expecting a JSON response, but that is not what's returned from the server. If you can reproduce it, it would be very helpful to have a screenshot from the network tab in your browser's debug tools to see which request was done and what the response was.
Good luck!
