print QR code for resource #449

I can't get this to work (v2.8.6.1 built with composer install a few months ago). It generates a template temporary page with the resources name in the header and sends it to the browser's print preview window, but no QR code appears beneath it and the browser tab shows as continually loading. I've edited qrconfig.php to produce a smaller QR image size and set find best mask to false to try to speed up QR generation but still nothing. I can't find anything on the wiki about this and I don't get any error mesages.
