When inserting a barcode of small size (e.g. 40% x 40%) in LibreOffice Writer, the digits get misaligned in respect to the barcode. The barcodes in Calc seem not affected by this bug.

Can you please check if the bug also happens with recent LO versions? 7.0.4.2 is outdated.

Can confirm bug, even in latest LibreOffice master.
Workaround:

  • Insert Barcode with 100% width/height in LibreOffice Draw
  • In the generated barcode context menu, select "Convert->To curve"
  • Now you can scale the barcode as any image (and of course copy it back to Writer)

Can also confirm bug. Good to know a workaround though
