LOTS of new perk changes. Honestly I didn't document a lot of them. Things like Rifleman and Commando were changed, Dressed for the Apocalypse was swapped out for a new perk I made called Adaptation, Gunslinger was updated...sorry. In exchange for not diligently taking notes as I worked, I made a spreadsheet for reference that contains the entire perk chart for your viewing pleasure.
So, is this save-safe? Yeah, probably. I didn't edit any perks that would make any crazy changes to your character (looking at you, Forced Evolution). You may notice combat is a bit...easier, depending on your perks. APUs also won't be insanely difficult to kill. So that's cool, I guess.
I made sure to update the version separator as well so people can stop yelling at me.

Your save won't break if you don't do this, but you'll lose a bunch of scrap, and I don't feel like being yelled at.

Edited Fallout4Custom.ini to change sun shadow timer update and threshold values. Untested because I'm lazy but should give smoother shadow transitions during daytime.
PLEASE NOTE: This update might not be save-safe. Since this is such a huge update to SS2, I am uncertain if it will cause problems later on down the line. Personally, I've updated this mod during the end of chapter 1, prior to reaching HQ. Since this update is primarily focused on HQ, I'm hopeful this won't be problematic for me. If you are unwilling to take the risk, don't install this update. And remember, any problems with the mods in this list are my problem, not the other mod authors' like kinggath. Thanks for reading.

A quick note: this should technically require a new save, but these are all the things I've done to my own modlist during the filming of my YouTube series, and I haven't started a new save, so...take that as you will. If you do plan to update and keep playing a save, I'd recommend using the coc sanctuarybasementjahani
command, waiting for 30 days, saving, closing the game, then updating the modlist. This will teleport you to the small basement in Sanctuary and essentially clear the cache of whatever is loaded in any other cell, effectively making sure the game isn't loading anything else. This will, however, reset all enemy spawns and such, so...you just have to deal with that. Same as I did on my series, if you've been watching.
Other than that, this is a pretty simple update. Removing some issues, fixing some issues, and most importantly, updating SS2 stuff. If you have not played newer versions of SS2, you need a Recruitment Clipboard to hire people for HQ. So if you're already beyond that point in the SS2 questline, either console yourself the item (help recruitment 4 weap
, then add it via player.additem <id> 1
, or it should be on top of Theresa's terminal in HQ. Consoling is the easier method...
This SS2 update also includes a hotfix from last night to address an issue with an infinite loop in the coding for the holotape tools. This fix should run automatically for you, so no extra steps required for you guys. You may or may not get a one-time pop-up stating that the fix ran and cleaned your save (I only used the test version from last night, not the one included in the mod),

This is Trash was rebuilt from scratch. That's why you have two of them in the left pane. The new one will (eventually) completely replace the old one. When I stop being so lazy.
Updates are never mandatory. This version of Magnum Opus has been very thoroughly tested by myself and a few dozen others, so bugs should be extremely minimal. In 26 hours of playtime, I had one crash that I could not reproduce or diagnose.
The known issues are so minor that I'm finally comfortable releasing this into the wild. Thanks for your time.
