Is there an option to make the heads-up-display to a fixed position in view, instead of floating in front? To simulate what it would be like in a real helmet with a real heads-up-display? If not, I think that's something that should be added as an option

I don't know if the HUD is locked in a level position as an aesthetic choice or if it was done so the menu would look nicer and they just haven't been decoupled yet. It looks less static, but the biggest drawback is the HUD is out of view if you look up or down, and if you look down to pick up a weapon you can't see the prompt to make sure you're standing in the right place.
Anyway I'm not a programmer or good at math but I was working on this with just trial and error, but if I figure it out it'll be in January
