Game not running at all, giving error "HMD not found"

I am running the game with steamvr open initially, the game will not run and gives back two errors after a while

I had this yesterday for the first time ever I believe it might have been a steamVR update, I had to restart my headset and computer a couple of times and then it worked. I use Virtual Desktop I don’t know if you do too.
