How to use without extra security of GPG key #992

Hi

Sorry this may be a noob question.

I tried using this script earlier 3 years ago, and created some key, whose passphrase (related to gpg) it asks me now, when I am trying to use it again, for basically any task I try to do. Obviously I don't remember it.

I don't remember this passphrase, and hell, I don't even want this pass/gpg protection right now.

Right now I can't even add an account to my setup without specifying that passphrase. How do I bypass this/get rid of it?

Open ~/.mbsyncrc, replace PassCmd "pass [email protected]" with Pass y0url33tp4ss.

I agree with you that this security feature should be optional.
